The passion for football has been with me all my life. Along the way, I have had the opportunity to play up to semi-professional level. I have seen what the positive benefits of playing in a football team bring to the personal development of those playing no matter their skill level. Anyone who plays benefits from the stronger relationships that come with being in a team. And, as the players benefit, the community does as well.
In 2009, it was clear that youth idleness, lack of social activities, and the necessity to make a living by all means were some of the major causes of crime in local communities, both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. In response to the explosion of crime and kidnapping in Nigeria, I developed the initiative of Kick Against Crime.
The Kick Against Crime initiative engaged the youth in a positive way using football to redirect their energy and re-evaluate their lives. Game On Afrika Ltd aims to replicate the same idea nationwide as a means to promote the experience of an exchange program between the Afrikan youth and their counterparts in the United Kingdom.
Our mission is to build bridges across the globe, providing opportunities for the young people to develop their talents through sporting activities, as well as encourage social cohesion and inclusion.
